Step 1: Log in or upgrade to Kahoot! Premium+

Start by logging in to your Kahoot! Premium+ account. 

To ensure that the content on Kahoot! Academy is of the highest possible quality, Verified educators are required to have a Kahoot! Premium+ account. With Kahoot! Premium+, you’ll access our full suite of features, including puzzles, polls, type answer, and a slide importer!

If you don’t have a Kahoot! Premium+ account, no problem. Anyone applying for a Verified educator profile can access a free 30-day trial! Activate Kahoot! Premium+ for K-12 or activate Kahoot! Premium+ for higher education.

Step 2: Start optimizing your content

Before you submit your profile, check out these handy hints for what to include in your application:

  1. Your profile should only include awesome kahoots that you have created yourself. Please do not include any kahoots you may have copied from others – your profile is all about your content! 
  2. We ❤️ high-quality content! Before submitting your profile, use your Kahoot! Premium+ superpowers to update your existing kahoots. Be sure to add a mix of question types and add images from the royalty-free image library, which is home to millions of images! 
  3. Get inspired! Check out Verified educator profiles by Cathy Yenca, Stephanie Castle, and Tom Arntson.

Now for the legal stuff! It’s important that all content you submit is in line with our Terms and Conditions and follows our Acceptable Use Policy. Be sure not to submit any illegal, copyright-infringing, or inappropriate content. If your content is in breach of the above, Kahoot! may remove such content, and/or withdraw your status as a Verified educator.

Complete the form below, and the Kahoot! Academy team will get back to you during the back-to-school season with information regarding your Verified educator profile.

Personal information
What topics will your kahoots cover? For example, algebra, English literature, US history, etc.
Tell us what grade(s) or age group(s) you teach so we can promote your content to a relevant audience.
Verified channel information
Your profile’s ‘short title’ will appear on certain pages where character limits are in place.
Introduce yourself and your content! We recommend mentioning your name and the ages and topics you teach.
Please upload a photo of yourself. We recommend a headshot.
Add links to your personal website or blog.
Connect with educators outside of Kahoot! by adding links to your social media profiles.

Upload up to 12 relevant online resources, such as downloadable PDFs and blog posts.
Choose three kahoots to appear at the top of your verified profile. Then, add the kahoot IDs. The kahoot ID is the long set of numbers and letters that you can find in the kahoot link after /details/. Each kahoot ID is different. For example, the ID of this kahoot is highlighted: https://create.kahoot.it/details/c88e1e04-74f8-4fb4-8e00-d4ca5364e2f6
Add all the kahoots you want to appear on your profile. Include categories so users can easily find content. A category can be a subject (e.g., algebra or Shakespeare) or grade or age group filters. Please add the category name and kahoot IDs. Please note: Each kahoot has a different kahoot ID.
