Kahoot! takes on the world’s biggest relay race: promoting health, teamwork, and engagement
This weekend more than 60.000 amateur and elite runners filled the streets of Oslo for the annual Holmenkollstafetten (the Holmenkollen Relay), the world’s biggest relay race.
And of course Kahoot! had to join in on the fun! With two participating teams, 30 K!rew members laced up to run the 18k track from downtown Oslo, through beautiful neighborhoods, forests, and uphill to the famous Holmenkollen ski jumping arena and back down through the Vigeland Park. Both teams delivered a stellar performance, even though the podium was far out of sight this year too…
Holmenkollstafetten is an annual highlight for many companies, including Kahoot!. We are all about offering an awesome place to work for our employees, and the relay race is an inclusive and playful event promoting physical activity, teamwork, and engagement. We believe that a happy and healthy work environment is fundamental not only for our people, but also for building a sustainable organization and driving our market performance.
And for those of our colleagues that didn’t run this year? Well, they joined the afterparty!
