A recognition of excellence in the EdTech industry, this award reaffirms Kahoot!’s commitment to delivering high quality, evidence-based learning solutions that support teachers and elevate learning outcomes for millions of students worldwide.
Celebrating education technologies shaping the future of learning
Tech & Learning’s Best of Show Awards are evaluated by a panel of industry expert judges and editors, based on criteria including, “ease of use, overall value, uniqueness in the market, and clear proof that the product streamlines teachers’ workflows and supports student achievement.”
As the awards editorial team noted, “The products nominated for the Best of Show program provide an outstanding overview of new technology on the show floor and shine a spotlight on the products, and businesses behind them, who are transforming education in schools around the world.”
Elevating student engagement and learning across school districts
Kahoot! has been granted a Best of Show Award in the category of Secondary Education, after winning in the Primary Education category at ISTELive 25 last year. This underlines Kahoot!’s versatility as a solution engaging learners of all ages and used across learning contexts.

In addition to this and other industry-renowned awards, I’m proud to say that Kahoot! ranks #1 on EduEvidence’s Global EdTech Evidence List, a list of 1,000 EdTech products across 75+ countries.
The learning benefits of Kahoot! have been analyzed in more than 300 independent, peer-reviewed studies across more than 70 countries. The research showcases learning impact far beyond engagement. For example, multiple meta-analyses have shown Kahoot! to improve students’ academic performance on a typical test by a full letter grade. This research also highlights that Kahoot! increases students’ learning motivation and class participation, as well as lowering students’ stress and anxiety.
