As a company founded in Norway more than 10 years ago, Kahoot! has been part of NKUL—the largest EdTech conference in Norway—every year since launching in 2013, and this year saw more awesome learning and engagement than ever. In May, the Kahoot! team was invited to kick off the conference’s TeachMeet event with an activity sure to energize the audience: hosting a kahoot session, of course!

The TeachMeet, organized by NPeD (the Norwegian society of ICT in Education), is an annual event at the NKUL conference where teachers present insightful tips and inspiring experiences of using EdTech.
Approximately 500 attendees had gathered for the event, making for fierce (but friendly) competition in the opening kahoot session. Participants were challenged to test their knowledge of the event partners, as well as bonus questions to boost the fun and engagement. The educators joining in also got the opportunity to see some of Kahoot!’s latest features in action, including the customizable Kahoot! characters. With this session, participating educators and administrators experienced first-hand how an EdTech platform like Kahoot! can bring people together and make learning awesome for all.
