Study apps and websites have become a regular companion on the learning journey for Gen Z and Millennials, and now their kids as well with the emergence of Gen Alpha. According to YPulse, a leading youth insights and intelligence platform, 83% of Gen Z’ers report using study platforms, and 57% of Millennial parents say their kids use them too.
Which study platforms are Gen Z and Millennials (and their kids) using the most? Based on their latest Education data, YPulse has published insights into the 25 top study platforms among 13–39 year olds and their kids in North America. Kahoot! came in at #3.
This recognition follows Kahoot!’s ranking earlier this year in the top 10 coolest Gen Z brands in Western Europe and North America, according to YPulse’s brand tracking data.

Kahoot! is used by over 8 million educators, as well as millions of families, students, and lifelong learners around the world. At the end of Q2 2023, Kahoot! had 458,000 paid subscriptions in its Education business area, and 303,000 paid subscriptions in Consumer & Experience.
