Located in the heart of Copenhagen in Denmark, Tivoli Gardens is one of the world’s oldest amusement parks, enchanting visitors since it opened in 1843. Known for its beautiful gardens and thrilling rides, Tivoli Gardens offers guests a blend of charm and modern entertainment. Among Tivoli’s main attractions are the Friday Rock concerts, which were introduced over 27 years ago. The concerts occur every summer between April and September, transforming the park into a lively music festival. Friday Rock concerts have featured performances by popular artists including 50 Cent, Diana Ross, Snoop Dogg, Deep Purple, and many more.
Tivoli’s main task: Get music fans and attendees into the park earlier and set them in the right mood before the concert
Despite the excitement surrounding the Friday rock concerts, Tivoli Gardens had the task of managing the influx of thousands of eager fans who would gather at the park just an hour before the concerts began, all in a short amount of time. To ensure a better access experience for visitors, Tivoli Gardens added various activities to the agenda to offer visitors and music fans earlier access to the amusement park. These activities included opening concerts, stand-up shows, and the use of Kahoot! to support engagement and entertainment in the park.
