If you have a free Kahoot! Basic plan, you have access to Kahootopia! and can create up to 4 class islands.

If you have a Kahoot!+ Bronze or Kahoot!+ Silver plan, you have access to Kahootopia! and can create up to 10 class islands.

If you have Kahoot!+ Gold, you have access to Super Kahootopia! which allows you to create up to 25 class islands and gives you access to exclusive rewards, more levels, and the highest leagues (Gold and Diamond) in Kahootopia! Leagues.

To view the achievements available in Kahootopia!, you can follow these steps:

1. Log in to your Kahoot! account and navigate to Kahootopia! by clicking on the Kahootopia! tab on the left side panel.
2. Once inside Kahootopia!, locate the treasure chest icon in the upper left corner of the screen. Clicking on this icon will provide an overview of the achievements that have been unlocked as well as those that remain to be unlocked, including any exclusive seasonal rewards.
3. Additionally, students can access their achievements by clicking on the achievement button available on their controllers when the lobby and island screens are displayed.

Regarding the creation of islands, we recommended creating one island per class. This allows each class to have a unique space representing their collective learning achievements and ensures that the progress and rewards are tailored to that specific group. Kahootopia! is not a game mode; it is an independent feature that displays the success of your students after playing a kahoot (whether that’s as a classic quiz or a game mode).

When playing kahoots, you can select the game mode that best fits your classroom’s needs: Classic, Team mode, Lecture mode, Accuracy mode, Color Kingdoms, Chill Art, Submarine Squad, Tallest Tower, Treasure Trove, The Lost Pyramid, Robot Run, or Cosmic Conquest. Yes, students can now use Kahootopia! after school to encourage collaboration beyond the classroom. Assign kahoots to your students, and every completed piece of homework will unlock collaborative rewards for the whole island.

To ensure your island’s buildings are growing, you need to:

• Play kahoots regularly— Each kahoot your class completes will help your buildings develop and grow.
• Engage in a range of topics — By playing kahoots on different topics, you will earn different buildings that correspond with the subject. 
• Boost your scores — The better your score, the better your buildings! Higher percentages of correct answers will lead to more luxurious buildings.

Yes, Kahootopia! can be used in large classes. Your participant limit simply depends on your plan. You can view participant limits for K12 Kahoot!+ plans here and Higher Ed Kahoot!+ plans here.

The identification of the subject is carried out automatically by AI within Kahootopia! Including the subject in the descriptions of your kahoots enhances the AI’s ability to classify them accurately, meaning the correct building on your island will progress and develop with each kahoot played.

Currently, Kahootopia! islands cannot be archived. However, we’re continuously gathering feedback from teachers and actively working to improve the Kahootopia! experience, including adding new features. Keep your eyes peeled for future updates.
