Intuit is a global technology company dedicated to helping individuals and small businesses achieve financial confidence. A key part of our mission to power prosperity around the world is ensuring that the next generation is equipped with essential financial skills.

To bring this vision to life, we need a partner who can help us scale our impact and make financial learning truly engaging. That’s why we teamed up with Kahoot!, the leading global learning and engagement platform. Since 2022, we’ve worked together to transform financial literacy education into a dynamic, interactive experience that meets learners where they are. By offering a collection of courses consisting of almost 50 kahoots, we take learners on a learning journey that introduces them to topics such as insurance, taxes, budgeting, and much more.

Over 500,000 participants (non-unique) have engaged with Intuit for Education’s Kahoot! games—proof of how powerful Kahoot! For Brands can be in reaching and inspiring students, educators, and lifelong learners alike.

Bridging the financial literacy gap

Financial literacy empowers young people to make smart, confident decisions about their futures. But many still graduate without the knowledge and skills to manage their money effectively. In fact, more than 70% of college students report financial stress, which remains one of the top reasons students leave school.

That’s why Intuit for Education is committed to helping 50 million students achieve financial literacy by 2030—and why scalable, student-centered solutions like Kahoot! are a critical part of how we get there.

The Intuit Hour of Finance™ Challenge

In 2024, we launched the Intuit Hour of Finance™ Challenge—a free, nationwide initiative encouraging educators to dedicate at least one hour to personal finance instruction during Financial Literacy Month, also with engaging resources available on Kahoot!.

Recognizing that not every teacher has time or confidence to build personal finance lessons from scratch, the challenge provides ready-to-use resources. In its first year, it reached tens of thousands of students across all 50 states. Students explored budgeting through structured lessons, competed nationally with our Prosperity Quest™ game, and reinforced key concepts with Kahoot! quizzes designed for long-term learning.

What’s next

We’re proud to keep growing our partnership with Kahoot! to bring financial education to more classrooms—and make it stick. By combining Intuit’s expertise in financial empowerment with Kahoot!’s engaging learning tools, we’re helping students build the confidence and capability they need to manage their financial futures.
