Today, I’m excited to announce that Kahoot! is partnering with the Wikimedia Foundation to unlock the world’s knowledge through engaging learning experiences for learners around the world!
The Wikimedia Foundation is the non-profit organization that hosts Wikipedia and other free knowledge projects, striving to bring about a world in which every single human being can freely share in the sum of all knowledge. Wikipedia, is the free, online encyclopedia that is created, edited, and verified by volunteers worldwide.
Wikipedia is, as is Kahoot!, already among the learning solutions accessed by many students and educators across the United States. This partnership combines the vast knowledge found on Wikipedia with the energizing experience of Kahoot! to spark learners’ curiosity in the world around them.
“The Wikimedia Foundation is excited to join forces with Kahoot!, to support the learning of both students and educators,” says Nicholas Perry, Senior Manager of Strategic Partnerships at the Wikimedia Foundation. “ This partnership reinforces our commitment to fostering universal access to knowledge and promoting lifelong learning for all.”
