For this year’s award, Kahoot! stands out among other learning platforms due to its platform capabilities, which include the use of our AI Generator, particularly among educators who utilize it to save a significant amount of time creating instructional content and formative assessments. With the Kahoot! AI generator educators can also create kahoots from their instructional materials, including PDFs, URLs, YouTube links, or even from slides they have uploaded into Kahoot! before.

We recently announced our integration with Microsoft’s new learning app on Copilot + PC, which enables educators to source content from trusted resources within the app or their documents to generate Kahoots in seconds. Additionally, teachers can create Kahoots quickly using our unique Wikipedia AI integration. This feature enables educators to create personalized, high-quality learning experiences sourced from Wikipedia articles.
Recent studies have also shown that over 70% of students are utilizing AI for their academic work. In response, we have introduced a new AI note scanner that can transform students’ notebook notes into kahoots in just seconds as it was recently featured at WWDC 2025 by Apple.
The aim is for students to use these Kahoots during their free time or study sessions to reinforce their learning in a personalized manner. This approach allows them to continue preparing for their exams while benefiting from our game-based learning principles.
