Every day, we see how technology is helping to shape our future. STEM skills like coding are becoming more valuable than ever in education, careers and beyond. However, many people believe coding to be an advanced—and intimidating—tech skill far out of their reach. As part of our mission to make learning awesome, we’re excited to announce that Kahoot! is partnering with Minecraft: Education Edition to bring even more engagement to their Hour of Code: TimeCraft challenges where anyone can learn to code!
Minecraft: Education Edition, a version of the smash-hit video game Minecraft designed for learning, is used by millions of students and educators in K-12 and higher education environments globally. In their Hour of Code: TimeCraft experience, students and curious coders of all ages are invited to explore coding concepts as they navigate and solve 10 interactive challenges. Throughout each of these challenges, participants can put their knowledge to the test with a kahoot, enabling educators and learners to track their progress and reinforce key concepts in computer science and beyond. The collection of coding kahoots is also available now for all users to play for free on Kahoot! Academy.
