Computer science has become an essential part of problem solving and innovating. We see it every day in the way we communicate, learn, work and create. Here at Kahoot!, we’re passionate about helping all learners to unleash their potential, and we’re excited to take it to the next level by partnering with Amazon Future Engineer to inspire students to explore how they could help shape the future through careers in STEM!
Amazon Future Engineer is a childhood-to-career computer science education program working to connect millions of students from communities historically underrepresented in STEM worldwide, including hundreds of thousands of students in the U.S., with enriching educational experiences. In addition, Amazon Future Engineer offers scholarships, internships and Teacher of the Year prize packages to support budding scientists and the educators inspiring them every day.
In this unique collection of kahoots, students from elementary to high school level can set off on an interactive virtual field trip to an Amazon fulfillment center and discover how computer science and people work together to power the Amazon delivery system. Meet the engineers behind Amazon’s latest technology, help your students build their computer science vocabulary and find out how fields like software development and robotics can make amazing innovations possible. Educators can also access a standards-aligned Teacher Toolkit that includes helpful resources for bringing the tour experience to the classroom.
