I’m happy to announce that Kahoot! has been certified for LTI Advantage by global learning consortium 1EdTech. This certification validates that with Kahoot! LTI 1.3, educational institutions can seamlessly and securely integrate Kahoot! with their Learning Management System (LMS), creating more efficient and effective digital learning experiences.

We first announced this new capability in June, sharing how educational institutions can access Kahoot! through their LMS with one click, without needing to log into each platform. With this integration, institutions can create a centralized learning environment with access to all course materials, including Kahoot! content. Educators can also quickly check who completes an assigned kahoot and track students’ performance through automatic Kahoot! reports within the LMS, making it easier than ever for educators to gather and synthesize insights into students’ learning and engagement. 

With this certification, 1EdTech confirms that Kahoot! has completed conformance testing and met its standard as an LTI Advantage Tool. LTI Advantage enables advanced protections for sensitive student data and supports deeper integration with the instruction’s digital learning ecosystem. Kahoot! has implemented LTI 1.3 for better security and the LTI Advantage features of LTI Deep Linking 2.0, allowing educators to easily embed kahoots directly into LMS modules or lessons with deep links, and LTI Assessment and Grade Services 2.0, enabling automatic grade passback from kahoot sessions to the institution’s LMS.
