Inspire students to build a better future for all with LEGO® Build the Change now on Kahoot!

Empower young learners to tackle real-world challenges and build a more sustainable future through play with these new kahoots from the LEGO Group’s social impact program, Build the Change!

Do your students have big ideas to change the world for the better? I’m excited to share that Kahoot! is partnering with LEGO Build the Change, a LEGO Group social impact program supported by the LEGO Foundation, to ignite children’s creativity, problem solving, and passion for sustainability with a new collection of kahoots!

LEGO Build the Change on Kahoot!

Originally launched in 2007, the LEGO Group’s Build the Change program invites kids to tackle real-world challenges with creativity and play, visualising ideas using LEGO® bricks and other creative materials. Young learners have tackled sustainability issues from climate change to creating a future where everyone is included. They have imagined and designed solutions such as floating food gardens, a polar ice machine, and an electric shoe that can charge your phone!

Available in English and Spanish, with more languages coming soon, these kahoots can spark learners’ curiosity about sustainability and design, and help them develop the key skills and creative confidence they’ll need to become the builders of tomorrow. Answer kahoot questions such as, “Why should built spaces be designed for everyone?” and, “What can nature teach us about living better lives on planet Earth?” to discover more about inclusive design and living sustainably.

Playful Schools

A “Playful Schools” quiz from the LEGO Group’s free Build the Change program, looking at how we all learn differently, created in partnership with YELLOW, an educational nonprofit founded by Pharrell Williams. Teachers: Visit https://www.lego.com/sustainability/buildthechange/courses for more classroom resources on this and other sustainability topics.

Whether these kahoots are played in the classroom, at home, or on-the-go, learners can explore some of the world’s most critical challenges while strengthening important future-ready skills, including creativity, design thinking, problem solving, and collaboration. As children play and grow their skills, they can develop a greater sense of confidence and agency as builders of a more sustainable future!

Lizabeth Sklaroff, Senior Director of Social Responsibility Global Programs at the LEGO Group, said: “We’re proud to bring our Build the Change social impact program to the Kahoot platform as part of the LEGO Group’s mission to be a global force for learning through play.  We hope creative young minds will be inspired by these playful quizzes exploring real-world challenges and enjoy reimagining a brighter tomorrow.  Together, we can build the change!”

Empower your students to unleash their creative superpowers and become the changemakers the world needs by visiting LEGO Build the Change on Kahoot!.
