Created and led by award-winning teacher, author, and Adobe Education Leader Nick Provenzano (@thenerdyteacher), the event celebrated the close of Teacher Appreciation Month in May. Educators, along with their families and friends, were invited to join in for a night of fun, learning, and connecting from home—much needed for many as schools remain closed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
With three rounds of trivia questions, participants’ knowledge was put to the test on a wide variety of topics. The first round of questions quizzed players on movies, TV, music, fashion trends, and other pop culture facts from the 80s, 90s, and 00s. The second round challenged participants on acronyms and other technical terminology of the education and teaching field, while the final round threw players a series of curveballs with random trivia questions.
The virtual trivia event was hosted live on Facebook and Twitter, with over 120 players joining in from around the globe. You can watch the full playback of the event here.
