After his first year in primary school, Deacon had excelled in maths and science, impressing both his teachers and parents. Learning how to read, on the other hand, proved to be a challenge.
When Deacon started playing the learn-to-read game Poio, everything turned around completely.
“After playing Poio, very quickly after, he started coming home with certificates saying that he’d been the best in class or scored top marks in his phonics test. It’s a phenomenal change in a very, very short amount of time,” says Deacon’s dad, Ian.
