Kahoot! Poio Read launches space missions to further engage children in learning how to read

Kahoot! Poio Read, the award-winning app that has taught over 100,000 children how to read, has launched new, exciting levels. They’re literally out of this world: children can now practice letters and words while in space!

Combined with play and exploration, learning to read can be really captivating – we invite you and your youngest family members on a fun journey with Kahoot! Poio Read, which just got an exciting update! Included in a Kahoot!+ Family and Premier subscription for personal use and Kahoot! Premium+ and EDU for teachers, it is an educational game that helps children aged 3-8 learn how to read. The immersive game entices children’s curiosity and motivates them to learn on their own while adapting to each child’s level and pace. Exploration leads to learning

In the game, children control cute little characters called Readlings on their hunt for letters and words. Up until now, they’ve had a whole island to explore with different themed areas like forests and deserts. Because exploration is key to children’s motivation when learning, the creators of Poio have now added a completely new area to the game!

Magical space missions

Every now and then, a brand new spaceship will appear on the island in the game. Children can board it together with the Readlings, and go on an exciting space mission on a magical planet.

Here, they’ll find lots of letters for their Readlings and practice tasks they are already familiar with, in addition to new game features! As if learning how to read with Poio wasn’t already exciting enough, it certainly is now.
