Today, we’re proud to announce we’ve added $10 million of extension funding to our Series A financing round. This was led by new private investors based in Norway, along with our current investors Northzone, Creandum and Microsoft Ventures.

Along with $10 million closed in September 2016, this additional financing brings our total Series A funding to $20 million.

What does this mean for Kahoot!?

This funding comes at a very important time, and will support the development of our product offerings – including our core product offering, our premium product for corporates and our new mobile app, which will enable our community to play Kahoot! and learn anytime, anywhere. The mobile app, currently available in beta on iOS and Android, will enable teachers to send after-class kahoot challenges to students, extending the Kahoot! experience beyond the classroom and making homework fun and awesome.

This new funding will also enable us to expand our commercial activities and drive revenue, enabling us to invest even more in our product offerings for the long-term! For more, check out the full press release about the announcement.
